Guesthouse Bathorn: A Warm Welcome for Nature Lovers and Friends of the Bicycle

At Guesthouse Bathorn, we like to welcome guests who love a good night's sleep, beautiful nature and a relaxing ambience. Our doors are open to adventurers who are not so much looking for luxury after a day outdoors, but rather enjoy hospitality and a warm welcome, possibly a nice meal.

We especially welcome sports enthusiasts who like to stay overnight with like-minded people during their multi-day cycling or hiking trips. Whether it is a brisk walk through the woods or a long bike ride along scenic routes, with us they will find a place to unwind, enjoy unexpected company and set off again the next day, fresh after a hearty breakfast.

Friends on a Bike is therefore intended for people who are on the move during their cycling or hiking adventures and like to stay overnight at local guest addresses. It is not an option for weekend city exploration by bike or for travellers arriving by car, unless it is discussed in advance with the hosts whether the address can serve as a starting point for a larger (multi-day) tour.

At Guesthouse Bathorn, we have a bedroom with its own shower and dining area next door, which adds to the cosy and informal atmosphere. Moreover, we have a friend price of €25 per person per night, including breakfast, when the friend number is mentioned. Tourist tax is not included.

Here you won't find luxury, but you will find a warm welcome and all the comfort you need for a great night's sleep and an energetic start to the next day.

Prices* and payment

This overnight rate is intended as an expense allowance; Friends on Bikes is not a commercial initiative. With each overnight stay, you contribute to a healthy, sustainable and personal way of recreation, accessible to all.

The Friends price of an overnight stay, including breakfast, is €25 per person.
Children up to 12 years pay €14.
If a Friend cancels within 24 hours before arrival, you may charge €12.50 per adult and €7 per child.
Friends pay for their overnight stay in cash or with a token, unless you agree otherwise.

Prices do not include tourist tax. This is a government tax whose amount varies from one municipality to another. It can be as much as 10 euros per person per night in big cities. Check with your own municipality what you might have to charge.
